  • Does My membership expire after the 6 month commitment?

    • no, You will continue to be billed monthly until you notify us that you would like to end your membership.

  • What is this extra charge on my account?

    • If you see an additional charge on your account it is usually for a class that was not covered by your membership. If you go over the amount of sessions in your membership, you will be charged a discounted rate for overages.

  • How do Members save a spot for their 1 free friend a month?

    • Simply email us at hello@studiojoyca.com or stop by the front desk. If there is space we will hold a spot for your friend. We ask that you have them create a profile on our studio joy app before attending class.

  • What is your late cancelation policy?

    • We have a 12-hour late cancel policy. You can cancel any scheduled session within 12 hours of the start time. If you don’t, that session will be forfeited.

  • Is there a late fee for canceling a session?

    • No, but if you do not cancel your session within 12 hours before the start time, that class will be taken from your account.

  • What is the easiest way to manage my account?

    • by downloading our free studio joy app. use the email and password you used to sign up. You can schedule sessions, see your purchase history, cancel a session, and book an infrared sauna.

  • Can I use the Mindbody APP to schedule my session?

    • Of course but our branded app is more user-friendly and is only for our studio. Download it for free from your App store.

  • Do I have to wear grip socks at your studio?

    • We will require grip socks starting 11/1/24.

    • Can I do Pilates while I am pregnant?

      The simple answer is yes, however, we always ask for you to talk with your doctor before taking class. We do offer modifications for pregnancy. A level 1 Reformer or Stretch Reformer class might be a better option during this time.

  • It’s my first time doing Pilates on the Reformer, what class should I take?

    • We ask that you enroll in a level 1 reformer or stretch class for your first session. This will give you a chance to get familiar with the reformer and movements of Pilates.

  • Can I let someone use one of my classes if I can’t make it?

    • We don’t allow packages or memberships to be shared. If you can’t make a scheduled session, please cancel it to free up a spot and reschedule your sessions for a day and time that works for you.

  • Can I film myself during a session?

    • We don’t allow filming of any sessions at our studio. the Privacy of our clients is our main priority.
